Bobbie Wirkmaa writes epic romantasy about resilience, found family, and the courage to reclaim power after loss.
Before becoming an author, Bobbie spent over 25 years as a professional dog behavior consultant, helping animals and their people navigate fear, trauma, and trust. Those same themes—survival, loyalty, and learning to stand again—found their way into her fiction.
Her debut novel, Elemental Awakening, begins the Echoes of Lumoria series, an epic romantasy saga about a woman who survives annihilation, begins training for a war she never thought would touch her, and learns to wield immense power without losing herself.
When she isn’t writing, Bobbie can be found training dogs, working with behavior clients, surfing, or exploring the outdoors. She lives in the United States with her four dogs and believes the most powerful stories are the ones that remind us who we are when everything else falls away.
